Maria Aguirre joined GFN in July 2024 and is a seasoned financial professional with a wealth of experience in budgeting, financial analysis, financial reporting, forecasting and accounting. Prior to joining GFN, Maria made significant contributions to non-profit organizations, by leading month-end closings, managing comprehensive financial reporting, and enhancing audit preparation. Her expertise extends to improving financial systems, streamlining processes, and driving efficiency through the adoption of technology. Maria holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from UDELAR in Montevideo, Uruguay.
