13 Global Food Banks Reshaping Food Distribution to Address the Root Causes of Hunger

Drawing inspiration from the Islamic concept of providing food for the underprivileged and assuming social responsibility for those who are less fortunate, and unable to secure their daily food, Her Royal Highness Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein established Tkiyet Um Ali in 2013. The food bank serves daily hot meals and distributes a monthly food package to families in need across Jordan with dignity and equity as a top priority.
