Around the world, food banks are transforming recovered fruits and vegetables into so much more than food — they are creating healthier, more resilient communities.
These recipes were developed by our food bank partners in Central America, sub-Saharan Africa, and Southeast Asia. Throughout the last year, with help from GFN and The Rockefeller Foundation, these food banks expanded their work with farms to recover more fresh produce and distribute it to communities facing hunger — helping more people access healthy food while reducing emissions from food loss and waste.
Take a journey with us through six countries to see how farms, food banks, and GFN serve #MoreThanFood — together, we’re growing a future where our food systems work as they should: nourishing people and the planet.
