Monica Gadkari is the Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning (MERL) Director at the Global FoodBanking Network, where she leads the organization’s evidence strategy across its global network of food banks. Monica brings over 16 years of experience building rigorous, decision-useful MEL systems across the private and philanthropic sectors. Most recently, as Director of Evidence for Transformation at Resonance Global, she led evidence, learning, and change management work spanning the Gates Foundation’s Millers for Nutrition coalition, the U.S. Department of State’s programming in Ukraine, and coalition and network monitoring with private-sector partners including PepsiCo and Unilever. Earlier in her career, she served as Chief of Party for a $14M USAID education systems contract in Ghana and held leadership roles across large-scale MEL portfolios at Social Impact, including in Liberia. Monica holds an MPA from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and a BA from Georgetown University.
