Giselle Aris

Executive Vice President of Programs

Giselle is a food systems specialist with 15+ years of global experience alleviating hunger and building more equitable, resilient food systems.

Prior to joining the Global FoodBanking Network, Giselle spent seven years as Chief Development Officer and Executive Leadership Team member at Land O’Lakes Venture37. At Venture37 Giselle also spent five years as the Technical Director for a global portfolio of projects focused on agricultural innovation and climate resilience. She additionally spent two years at Venture37 as a Congressional Hunger Center Leland Fellow, serving as a technical lead on food systems projects based in Tanzania and Zimbabwe. Prior to joining Venture37, Giselle founded and spent two years managing a smallholder farmer-owned dairy business in South India. Giselle has also worked at Deloitte, the Deshpande Foundation, the Department of State, the United Nations, and Women’s Campaign International.

She has over 15 years of experience in leading strategic, global growth; managing high-impact partnerships; and implementing innovative, socially impactful programmatic approaches that advance food security. Giselle earned her BA from the University of Pennsylvania, her MPhil in International Development from the University of Oxford, and her MBA from Wharton.
