October 14, 2016 – The Global FoodBanking Network is pleased to announce that it has partnered with Knorr – Unilever’s largest brand – on a global social media marketing campaign, #ShareAMeal.
This campaign will run from now until World Food Day (October 16th) and will encourage people across the world to join in on a conversation about the importance of nutritious food using the ‘world’s first truly global language’: Emojis.
Users who tweet using an emoji and the hash tag #ShareAMeal will be redirected to a GFN donation page. Once the campaign is complete, GFN will use these funds to support its network, which consists of 792 local food banks in 32 countries.
