This special event will explore the connections between food systems and climate, with a focus on food loss and waste and equitable access to food. It will bring together leaders with international, national and local perspectives, highlighting effective models for preventing food loss and waste and redirecting surplus food to those in need.
Networking session | 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. | Including drinks and appetizers, this will be an opportunity for experts and leaders to connect and exchange ideas.
Interactive discussion | 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. | An interactive discussion with remarks and reflections from food system experts. The conversation will focus on policy, financing and collaborative pathways to advance food security and climate action — including the vital role of food collection and redistribution as a climate solution.
