By making a contribution each year, you ensure that we can meet commitments to all those who benefit from The Global FoodBanking Network programs.

What is planned giving?

Planned giving is the process of making a charitable gift of estate assets to The Global FoodBanking Network, a gift that requires consideration and planning in light of your overall estate plan.

Such gifts usually include legal documents and often require the assistance of a qualified professional advisor to complete. Because of the size and potential impact of such gifts, you should consult with your professional advisor.

Those who have notified The Global FoodBanking Network of their intent to include GFN in their final estate plans are invited to be members of the Van Hengel Society. For more information on planned giving options, or the Van Hengel Society, see Ways to Give.

Why should I give?

Each gift to The Global FoodBanking Network enables us to build and strengthen food banks that get needed food to individuals and families and allow them to achieve their fullest potential. The continued success and sustainability of The Global FoodBanking Network programs is dependent on your financial support.

For every $5 you donate, the Global FoodBanking Network helps provide at least 20 meals for people suffering from chronic hunger.
